Why do the objects to be viewed thorough a compound microscope must be brightly illuminated?

Answer:Because it contains its own light source in its base, a compound light microscope is also considered a bright field microscope. Bright field microscopy simply means that the specimen is lit from below and viewed from above.

1). magnifying power of comound microscope is large ,if the object of short focal length is used..

2). because of this,the size of the objective as well as it's aperture becomes small.

3). small size of objective collects small amount of light which enters into the compound microscope..

4). to see the object clearly and adequately,it must be illuminated brightly so as to pass more light energy.this will result in seeing or viewing the object clearly and adequately....
