why do the poet doesnot mention the reason behind the down fall of the patriot​

The poet does not mention the downfall of the patriot because it was only the believe of the countrymen that he has done some kind of misdeed but in reality the patriot had not done any bad work or deed inspite he was a very brave and good person. . Therefore , the poet has not wrote anything about his misdeeds because it is not the major concern of the poet .
