Why does a programmer uses a computer?

Why does a cashier uses a cash register?

Why does a writer uses a pen?

Why does a chemist uses chemicals?

Why does a jeweller uses gold?

They all need it. It's their profession that demands the use of certain things. A poem without poetic devices is not a poem.

I would have elaborated more, and I'll do it when I'll switch to PC.

Till then let's hope you have been answered.

Poets use poetic devices in their poems to draw parallels with objects. This not only bring out the beauty of the poem but also gives it a perfect touch and often , the users find themselves tangled in the beauty of words...A poem is incomplete without poetic devices...Some things can be best expressed by using similes, metaphors etc. Poems portray these quite efficiently. The poet uses his vast bank of words to bring out the meaning of his poem in the most artistic , creative, and innovative way.....He also keeps in mind that the examples he cites in the poem and the way he goes on weaving the poem with poetic devices appeals to readers of all ages alike and melts their hearts away,......This is how a poet wins the hearts of his readers....
