Explanation:

1)When the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun, the north pole remains in the light for whole days. This position remains for 6 months from (21 March to 23 September)

2) On the contrary Southern hemisphere, the South Pole does not get light during those 6 month it experience night.

3)when the southern hemisphere is tilted towards, the sun the South Pole remains in light for 24 hours for 6 months from 23rd September to 21st March. Reverse are the condition at the north pole i.e. 6 months
