Hey there ,

The Prices of food grains rises during drought .

this is quite obvious and the reason is very simple.

During drought , there is no rainfall and the land becomes infertile and unsuitable for plants to grow and live .

This results in decrease in production of food grains and vegetables .

As the production decreases and the demand is increasing there develops a competition between the consumers for food .

The one who pays more gets the item . Thus the price of the food grains and vegetables increases in leaps and bounds during droughts.

HOPE IT HELPS :-)

THANK YOU
