The rivers fail to benefit the state because

♠ The river is may be separated to 2 states and both the state are using it

♠ By water pollution the river become a place of garbage so it is not much useful

The chemicals exposed by industries have lead to the death of fishes which are a good source of income (lagoon center)

If there is lot of poly bags in the river it loss the water holding capacity

hope u get it
