Cow are herbivores . They eat only plants. Plants contain cellulose which requires a longer time for digestion . On the other hand , tigers are carnivores . They eat only meat and flesh which can be digested in a comparatively shorter period . Hence the small instestine of tiger is shorter than that cows small instestine ....

Herbivorous animals(cow) have longer intestines than that of carnivorous(tiger) animals. This is because their diet is grass and plants, made up of fibre and cellulose which are hard to digest. As a result the herbivorous animals need a longer digestive track to digest their foods completely.tigers eat meat and flesh of other animals which is easily digested. So the have a smaller small intestine.
