trucks have wider tyres than normal vehicles.
The trucks are made to carry heavy loads while travelling on the road.
for the further proceedings, you should know about the force and how it is related to area of contact.Force is inversely proportional to the area of contact. This means that the smaller the area of contact, the larger the force be exerted. In the same way,the larger the area of contact, the smaller is the force exerted.

Wide tyres are made in trucks to increase the area of contact with the road so that less force is exerted on road.this will prevent the truck from sinking in the roads where trucks with narrow tyres would sink.the weight on the wheels would be distributed evenly and equally.
