Think of the skeletal system of your body like the frame of a house that is designed to hold everything together. This system helps protect your organs and keep them from getting injured. The bones of your skeletal system are linked together with cartilage, ligaments, and joints that help your bones move.

The Human body stays up with bones and muscles, and a building stays up with beams and walls so beams are like bones/muscles and bones are like beams/walls.

A tissue is a group of similar cells working together. If the whole body is a city, and a cell is just one brick, a tissue is one step bigger – a house.
