The tiger is one of the largest of the big cats. the base color of the coat is fawn to read, becoming darker the further southwards you go. The Balinese tiger is the darkest.
The underparts of the tiger are white.
The coat is overlaid with black to brownish -black transverse stripes and these contrasting colors provide a wonderful camouflage in its natural habitat.

Its a camouflage technique for survival purposes they will be able to blend in surrounding to get prey
