Ans➡️TRANSITION ELEMENT HAVE HIGH EFFECTIVE NUCLEAR CHARGE AND A LARGE NUMBER OF VALENCE ELECTRON.

THEREFORE THEY FORM VERY STRONG METALLIC BONDS OR METAL METAL BONDING WHICH ARISES DUE TO UNPAIRED ELECTRONS IN THE (n-1)

d-SUBSHELL.AS A RESULT THE ENTHALPY OF ATOMISATION OF TRANSITION ELEMENT IS HIGH.

Hope this helps you ☺️☺️⭐✨✨⭐✌️✌️

Solution Because of large number of unpaired electrons in their atoms they have stronger interatomic interaction and hence stronger bonding between atoms resulting in higher enthalpies of atomisation.
