why do trees on hills have sloping branches​

Trees on hills have sloping branches. The climate on hills is cold in general. This results in snowfall. If the branches are not sloping, then the ice would get accumulated on the branches which would lead to rotting.

so as to make the snkw downwards that of the tree as it will not be kept on tree and harm its growth.

so they are on the sloping side so as to slope the snow downwards.
