why do tropical mansoon winds bring rainfall to India

This causes the winds to blow over theIndian subcontinent toward the IndianOcean in a northeasterly direction, causing the northeast monsoon. Because the southwest monsoonflows from sea to land, it carries more moisture, and therefore causes morerain, than the northeast mo
nsoon.
