Iron and Steel industry is a basic industry as in industry iron and steel used as a major raw material the Machines and all the machinery is built of Steel and iron don't matter the industry is big or small

Iron Industry is called Basic Industrybecause it act as need for all other Industries... Iron and steel industry is known as basic industry as it provides a base to the other industries.It provides raw materials to ship building, transport equipments, machine and tool making industry, Aircraft etc.
