Why do utensils have wooden or Bakelite handles?​

Explanation:

Wood or Bakelite is very bad conductor of heat. This means heat cannot move through these substances and thus they do not get heated easily. Due to this reason the handles of cooking utensils always remain cool than the body of utensil which is made up of metal. Therefore, we can hold the handles easily. So , utensils have wooden or bakelite handles.
