why do vehicles skid on a road with oil spills

vehicles skid becuse their tyres are made of rubber and oil which is very slippery to walk or ride on it,so it creates a slippery moment due to which vehicles skid and sometimes there might be chances for major accidents to take place....so we must be careful and we should not drive on such oil spilled roads
