why do veins have thin walls as compared to arteries​

because arteries carry blood from heart with high pressure and therefore to with stand the pressure it has thik walls

Answer: Veins have thin walls as compared to arteries ​because the pressure of blood is much fast in arteries than in veins. Thin wall can't bear much pressure that is why they are not suitable for arteries​
