because arteries carry blood from heart with high pressure and therefore to with stand the pressure it has thik walls

Answer: Veins have thin walls as compared to arteries because the pressure of blood is much fast in arteries than in veins. Thin wall can't bear much pressure that is why they are not suitable for arteries
