arteries have to pump the blood to distinct parts of the body, thus it has thicker wall than veins

heart pumps the oxygenated blood and artries have to carry that pumped oxygenated blood to all the other parts of body due to the pumping blood has a lot of pressure
so, artries are thick walled
where as,
veins carry deoxygenated blood from the body parts to heart . this do not have any pressure
so, veins are thin walled

hope it would help
if so, pls mark it as brainliest
