Why do virus tend to kill the host if their existence is dependent upon them?

As the Virus keeps multiplying itself in the host and eats away the nutrients consumed by the host it tends to kill their host though they are dependent on them

Answer:

When a virus enters a host, it starts multiplying in the host body itself. It is depended on host for nutrients, food, water, favourable conditions, etc. It makes it's shelter or home in host's body and starts living there as it always keep multiplying, it need more and more nutrients. So it consumes nutrients by host and by consuming it takes the all nutrients from the host's body and kills the host.
