Why do viscous or dense liquids take comparatively more time for diffusion?

⇒ The question is based of diffusion, So diffusion is the movement of molecules from higher concentration towards lower concentration Or , I simply say that in diffusion the molecules moves rapidly in random direction.

⇒ For diffusion what we need is less force of attraction between inter particles so that the particles diffuse easily.

⇒ According to the question the liquid is viscous/Dense , So if we compare Denser liquid with less dense liquid the intermolecular space of dense liquid is more than that of less denser liquid That is force of attraction of molecules in denser liquid is stronger than of less denser ones , So viscous/Dense liquid takes more time to diffuse with respect to lesser ones .

You can also compare this with solid gases , In solid the intermolecular space is more so it diffuse slowly .
