Why do water in pot remain cool for long?without any electricity

cooling is caused by evaporation...during evaporation some heat energy is being utilised. since this energy is taken by water itself..it leads to the lowering in the temp. in the remaining amount of water.

it's simple just bcoz of evaporation the pot has pores from which the water is continuing seeping out and evaporation takes place so to maintain the temp. the atmosphere continue takes the heat from the pot i.e. latent heat and when all the heat is lost then the water remains cool.
