why do we appear to see twinkling effect of stars? Give reason​

the movement of air in the atmosphere of earth cases the star light slightly bant as it travels from the distance star though the atmosphere down us on ground and it is not a common path way of air travel Air change its direction that's way it appears like star are twinkling

Really stars do not twinkle,they just appear to twinkle when seen from the earth.The stars twinkle in night sky due to the affect of atmosphere.When starlight enters in the atmosphere of earth the it is affected by winds in the atmosphere and by areas with different temperature and densities.This cause to appear to see twinkling effect of stars.
