why do we apply paint on gates and grills ?

GATE IS MADE UP OF IRON
Iron articles are painted to prevent them from rusting. After painting iron surface does not come in contact with moisture and air which cause rusting.

hey mate !! we apply paint on (iron) gates and grills bcoz when iron come in contact with water and air , it starts rusting ... and slowly rusting destroy iron ... so to stop rusting we apply paint....
