Iron articles are painted to prevented them from rusting .After painting iron surface dies not come in contact with moisture, air which causes rusting

So, we apply paint on the surface of iron articles .

1. Iron articles when exposed to air, react with oxygen and moisture in air.As a result rusting takes place in Which the metal deteriorates.
2. To prevent this rusting and deterioration of iron, we have to apply paint to iron articles.
