Why do we apply paint on iron particles? ​

By applying paint on iron articles,they can be prevented from corrosion.Paint doesn't allow oxygen and water to come in contact with the surface of the iron.

When iron comes in contact with atmospheric air, it gets corroded or rusted.

A reddish brown colour is deposited on its surface called a s rust; which damaged the iron article.

Hence, to prevent such rusting we apply paint the iron articles.
