• The nose is designed for helping to breathe safely, efficiently, and suitably.

• Nasal hair filters out dust, allergens, and pollen, which benefits preventing them from entering the lungs.

• Nostrils warm and moisturizes the air that is breathed in which brings the air that is inhaled to the body temperature and makes it easier for the lungs to use them.

• During breathing from the nostril, the nose releases nitric oxide. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, which means it enables to broaden of blood vessels that can boost the improvement of oxygen circulation in the body.

• The disadvantage of oral cavity breathing is that the mouth loses moisture, which can result in a dry mouth and it also increases the risk of inhaling unfiltered air which can cause lungs problem, asthma and other respiratory problems
