The light rays parallel to the concave mirror's principal axis , CONVERGE AT A POINT (principal focus) on the p.axis.
But that of the convex mirror only APPEAR TO CONVERGE at a point(P.FOCUS)

When the light rays parallel to the principal axis strikes to the surface is concave mirror, then after reflection the reflected rays get converged and meet at a common point known as focus. As after reflection the reflected rays move closer to each other and finally meets at a common point, the concave mirror is also known as convergent mirror
