Therefore we have limited amount of land to use for different purposes Land resources are important for agriculture, Industries, Residencies,mining etc .And due to pollution, using so much of chemical fertilizers, fertile land is decreasing. Therefore we call land resources limited.

land resources are limited because only 43% of the total land area is plain which is suitable for agricultural activities, industrial development and setting up of transport and communication systems. 27% of the total land area and are sparsely place at a faster pace . deforestation, water logging , construction of large dams , mining and over grazing have resulted in the degradation of the land resources
