ANSWER:
A compound microscope is used for studying of different smaller particles or organisms. Even then the compound microscope cannot help us to observe viruses. It is so because the virus are very small in size to be observed by compound microscope. Even a group of virus which contains thousands of viruses cannot be seen under it.
EXPLANATION:
- The magnification power of compound microscope is 1500 X.
- The size of virus is smaller than that of some bacteria’s that is 1/100 times.
- Therefore it is difficult for the compound microscope to magnify such a small all organisms.
- Some species of virus are somewhat visible but not very detailed look of it is magnified.
