why do we close our eyes while sneezing.if you don't know the answer follow me​

I don't exactly know,but it is said that if we open our eyes and sneeze(which is impossible btw)our eyes will pop out(?)

we close our eyes before sneezing because when we sneeze we are actually throwing the germs back who came through our nostrils. so our eyelids also react in order to prevent the dust going into the eyes, also we put a lot of pressure while sneezing..please mark as brainliest it really helps alot
