According to convention, each time zone in the world is spaced by 15 degrees longitude. Hence, India could have two time zones. However, the government chooses to keep a single time zone across the whole country (similar to China), despite various requests and proposals to change it.

hope it helps

The world time or GST is not used in other countries except England coz there is 5 and 1/2 hrs of time delay for india.

if sun rises there ,it will take 11:30 for sun to reach India. the sun rising is in the early morning not during noon
