Why do we convert numbers from decimal number system to binary number system or vice- versa ?​

We convert the numbers from decimal number system to binary number system because the computer can understand only the binary number system i.e.0 & 1. We convert numbers from binary to decimal number system so that we can understand it. It is basically for our convenience.
