When we exhale in winter, the water vapor present  in our breath condenses into lots of small droplets of water and ice creating a cloud, that is similar to fog.

Answer:

Moisture in the breath is the reason to form clouds like smoke near our mouth while speaking during the winter season.

Explanation:

You take oxygen when you breathe in and exhales carbon dioxide when you breathe out is the natural thing when you breathing. But in the winter season, moisture in your mouth and lungs forms the smoke or cloud when that hits the cold air.

Cold air does not keep the moisture in your breath but it does not happen when the warm air is around you because it can hold the moisture.
