Why do we fall forward when moving bus break to stop and fall backward when it accelerate from rest

we fall forward when bus stop due to inertia of motion and backwards when it accelerate due to inertia of rest

when bus moves,our whole body is moving.but when bus stops,our lower portion stops but upper portion keeps moving due to inertia of motion.thus we tend to fall fall forward when bus stops suddenly.
