Why do we fall in the foward direction when the driver applies brakes to stop the car?
According to Newton's first law of motion, our body being a massive body have the tendency to resist any change in its state of rest or motion. This is the Inertia of our Body.
In the above case, our body is following Inertia of motion.
Whenever a passenger is traveling inside a bus, the lower part of the body is in contact with the bus and our upper part is not in with floor of bus. Initially our body is in motion with bus. So, whenever the brakes applied, the body moves forward due to its resistance towards change in its state/ inertia of motion.

Explanation:
we fall front because of inertia of motion
when the car starts we will be in rest so it pushes us back and we fall back
Similarly, when the car is moving we sitting in it ,when suddenly breaks are applied to the car it stops but we don't. we will be moving so we will fall front dude
