why do we feel comfortable while sitting under a fan during summer​

when we sit under the fan, we feel nice and cold

this is because of evaporation. evaporation causes cooling. since the speed of the wind around you is made faster, the rate of evaporation becomes faster, thus making us feel cold and comfy.
