Evaporation is a cooling process where the particles at the surface absorb energy from the particles below them and turn into gaseous molecules with the help of the energy absorbed thus decreasing the energy(heat) and the temperature. When we apply shave lotion or perfume, the particles of them absorb the heat energy from our body and escape decreasing the temperature. So we feel cool.
