When we touch a piece of ice,we feel cold because of the process called conduction.
Conduction is a process of transferring of heat from the object of higher temperature to the object of lower temperature.
Since ice is cooler than us,when we touch the ice,the heat from inside our body gets transferred towards the ice.As a result,we lose heat and feel cool...
Hope this helps !!! ;)

When we touch ice we feel cool because of the melting and evaporation of the ice. When we

touch the ice the ice quickly absorbs the heat of our hand, melts and evaporates with the heat.

Hope it's helps you.
