why do we feel cool when we touch a piece of ice?

it's due to the melting and evaporation of ice , when we touch the ice it gets heat from our hand and melts and evaporates so that only we feel chill in our sense

Because The temperature of ice is 0° Celsius and when our body comes in contact with ice .The Temperature of ice Applied on our body .Hence we feel cool while touching ice
