why do we feel hungry when we smell aroma food?

in our body taste and the smell are inter connected to each other in nasal cavity the mucus gland secreates mucus which helps in activating smell nerves . when the air bourne substances come in contact with mucus gland these nerves send signals to brain . the brain analyses the smell and sends signal to gut nervous system which causes secreation of ghrelin causeing increase in apetite(hunger)
