Why do we feel pain in muscles after undergoing strenuous exercise
Answers
Answer:
Heya mate....
When muscles are required to work harder than they're used to or in a different way, it's believed to cause microscopic damage to the muscle fibres, resulting in muscle soreness or stiffness. DOMS is often mistakenly believed to be caused by a build up of lactic acid, but lactic acid isn't involved in this process.

Answer:
We feel muscle pain after undergoing strenuous exercise because as we do very fast exercise like running , there is a decrease in oxygen supply in our body due to fast exhalation and inhalation .
As the body is now working in a higher rate of metabolism it needs high amount of energy for which our body respires very fastly . Due to increased rate of respiration there is not enough blood supply aur oxygen supply to every parts of our body due to the incomplete respiration are muscles to carry out the excessive excercise begins to respire anaerobically which means without the help of oxygen .
Since our muscles respire anaerobically there is a formation of lactic acids in our muscles which is very toxic and due to this acid formation we feel pain in our muscles after doing tremendous work or excercise.
After sometime when we take rest this latic acid get oxidised and our pain reduces.
