The primary reason why we feel lethargic and weak after vomiting is because when we throw up, we lose all the food that we had consumed. Additionally, we lose any form of energy that came from the food we consumed. Consequently, our body has now lost the food, which was required as a raw material to generate energy which shall later be converted into glucose. Clearly, when there is no food, our body cannot produce any energy, thereby making weakness prevail over our system.
