we find droplets of water on underside of plates that is put on hot bowl of soup because when water is hot in soup, it evaporates and when it reaches the plate, it cools, condenses and form droplets of water on it.

The water evaporates and becomes steam on heating , this steam collects on the undersurface of children covered object and condenses to form water droplets.
