Like multiplication we can also do straight division

for example lets take,

3/5÷4/7

=3÷4/5÷7

=3/4÷5/7

Lets multiply it with 4/4 as it is equal to 1 and it will cancel the numbers

=(3/4)/(5/7)*4/4

(3/4*4=3; 5/7*4=20/7)

Therefore we get, 3/(20/7)

Let's multiply it with 7/7 and it is also equals to 1

=3/(20/7)*7/7

(3*7; 20/7*7)

Therefore we get 21/20

Flipping the divisor is actually a shortcut

3/5÷4/7

=3/5*7/4

=21/20

There !!!! we have reached the answer in just two steps....

Hope it helps..........
