because... glucose is the simplest carbohydrate. And in our body most of the energy is produced from carbohydrates. As glucose is the simplest nutrient, it do not require any complex process for breakdown of glucose.

If we take glucose... as soon as it reaches to cells production of energy starts. As a result we get instant energy by the process of glycolysis in mitochondria which ultimately leads to formation of ATP... the energy.
