food need to be break down in its simplest form to be absorbed and for releasing energy which take time. and glucose is already in the simplest form. so when we consume it, it does not need to be broken down to release energy. so we get instant energy from glucose.

As it is the simplest source of carbohydrates(simple sugar) and so it don`t needs digestion and is easily absorbed by body to get instant energy. ... Carbohydrates, when consumed, have to be digested intoglucose. As glucose can be easily absorbed in blood, it provides energyto the body.
