We get rains when clouds form and when the water droplets in the clouds become too large.
Explanation:
- During summer, the sun’s heat makes the water surface dry up and evaporation takes place where the water gets transformed into gas and disappears into the atmosphere.
- When this vapor rises, it cools as temperature reduces with height and transforms into small water droplets and eventually form clouds.
- When these water droplets get bigger and very heavy they cannot sustain themselves in the cloud form, and then get transformed to water again and drops on earth.
