in a vast country like india rich in diversities of languages religions customs traditions and lifestyles it is very difficult to have a single unified administrative set up. therefore we have two seperate levels of government with assigned powers and functions in india.

we have government at two level because our India is the 2nd largest country in the world so it require the proper rules and regulations for the whole country it is difficult to maintain whole country at single level so that we have government at two level
