What is Lunar Eclipse?

  • Lunar eclipse due to the position when the earth comes between the moon and the sun.
  • Here, light from sun comes and falls on the surface of earth.
  • As being an opaque object, from moon, it will be shown that the sun has a big hole in it.
  • In this way lunar eclipse forms.

NOTE: In attachment one it is showing the position of the celestial bodies but in second one, we can see the look the the lunar eclipse.
