A representative democracy is a form of government in which representatives are elected to make policy and enforce laws while representing the citizens. All moderndemocratic countries are representative, not direct, democracies. A representative democracy is also known as a republic.

Democratic government is a form of government in which the people choose their leaders.
The representatives represents the opinion,desire and need of the people.
In a democratic country,we people choose our representatives.
